In April and May 2023, HumanistSG representatives gave two presentations to introduce non-religiousity and humanism in Singapore.
In April 2023, our Secretary Nora gave an introduction on freethinkers in Singapore, as part of a comparative religion course at the Buddhist College of Singapore. The College appreciated our sharing.

In May 2023, the Humanist Society gave presentations at the SRP 8th Executive Programme 2023, organised by NTU RSIS.
The Programme is titled “Religions and Non-Religions: Dynamics and Impacts on Plural Societies”, and it focused on non-religiosity and its place in and influence on Singapore’s religiously diverse landscape.

As part of the Programme, we prepared two presentations (delivered by Paul). The first gave an overview of non-religiousity in Singapore, an introduction to the non-religious labels and humanism itself. The second presentation covered non-religious views on religion, especially issues concerning giving/taking offence. RSIS expressed appreciation for our sharing.
