We need vocal, opinionated people to respond to specific issues related to Humanism. Please see our newsroom for letters our media response team have written to newspaper forums.
Responsibilities
- Keep track of current affairs and issues (preferably by reading the local newspapers)
- Alert the exco/ media response team to the issue
- Write letters to newspaper forums
- Write responses/ position papers to be published on our website/ Facebook page.
Requirements
- How much time do I need to commit? As we usually need to respond quickly (within a few days), more time commitment may be required when we need to respond to an issue.
- Where do I have to be? Anywhere, as long as you are contactable and you can work fairly quickly when the need arises.
- Skills needed: Good knowledge of current affairs. Good writing skills would be a bonus.
