We warmly invite you to our Bimonthly Humanist Cafe series, where you get to share your personal stories, and hear from fellow atheists, agnostics, freethinkers and other like-minded people in Singapore.

Do you consider yourself an atheist, agnostic, freethinker? You are not alone. Almost one in five Singaporeans today are non-religious. Worldwide, more than 1 billion individuals are non-religious.

The growing numbers of non-religious people is a relatively modern development in world history. Misconceptions and stereotypes of non-religious people are still commonplace, even in Singapore. Atheists, in particular, are persistently regarded as immoral, uncharitable, and unhappy individuals by some segments of the public.

The Humanist Society strives to end harmful stereotypes of non-religious people, and provide spaces for non-religious people to share personal stories of how they became freethinkers.
