From time to time, the HSS will collect personal data from individuals who come into contact with HSS and our activities (“the Individuals”), whether through events, our mailing list, or various social media platforms.
All information we collect is strictly for the purpose of conducting HSS activities.
Collection and Usage of Personal Information
We collect information such as names, contact details and demographic information as is provided by the Individuals. We use this data to:
- Communicate with the Individuals
- Understand the Individuals
- Shape strategies and plans for HSS activities.
We will keep this personal data confidential, unless an Individual expressly consents that we share the information with a third party, or where the disclosure is permitted or required by law.
Disclosure to third parties
HSS will not provide personal information to a third party unless we specifically state so when the information is collected, or unless an Individual gives express consent, or unless permitted or required to do so by law or any government agency.
Updating/Editing of Personal Information
If an Individual notices an error in his/her personal information or wishes to update any information, please notify us and we will correct this as soon as possible. You may send an email to info@humanist.org.sg

The HSS takes all reasonable steps to protect the personal information we collect.
