This virtual workshop will introduce the main principles of secular humanism, recap a brief history of humanism, and demonstrate actionable steps that can apply to the everyday lives of non-religious individuals, facilitating their search for meaning and happiness.

Non-religious humanist communities around the world are guided by reason, informed by evidence, driven by compassion. But how exactly do we apply these principles to our daily lives? What actionable steps can I take each day, to make sense of our chaotic world and be happier?

At the end of this workshop, you will learn:
 
1) How to better manage information overload from the internet, which can be misleading, depressing and toxic 
2) How to better guard against our own bias, enabling more rational decisions in our lives.
3) Quick steps to better find happiness through acts/words of compassion
