Despite being non-believers, many humanists are interested in the history of religions, their influences on society and the inspiration they offered to art. Christopher Hitchens himself was an admirer of the architecture of cathedrals and churches.
The Asian Civilisations Museum is having two special exhibitions on top of its permanent galleries and we think it is great time to visit:
– Exploring The Cosmos: The Stupa as a Buddhist Symbol
– Devotion & Desire: Cross-Cultural Art in Asia
