Nutrition is fundamental to all life. Never more so than at the end of life when illness may add new challenges to understanding nutritional needs.

HumanistSG invites you to register for a free webinar by HCA to understand:

1. Changes in a person’s appetite and nutrition across the trajectory of illness and at the end-of-life

2. Finding a balance between maintaining nutrition and understanding anorexia at the end-of-life

3. Types of nutritional supplements and their usage

Time: 10:00 to 11:30 AM (Webinar) followed by Zoom discussion 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Fee: Free

The speaker is Ms. Chan Sue Mei, Principal Dietitian and Manager of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department in Yishun Community Hospital and the Deputy Head of Nutrition and Dietetics in Yishun Health. She is part of the multidisciplinary team providing inpatient Hospice Palliative Care Service in YCH.

This will be a two part “outing” for interested Humanists:

Part 1 – webinar by HCA. You’ll receive the zoom details from us when you register for the discussion as the eventbrite registration has closed.
