Humanist Cafe: Parenting for the non-religious

Date
24/02/2024

Time
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Humanist Cafe is a monthly gathering aimed at providing peer support for the non-religious at multiple stages of life. Guided by facilitators, participants can share their life experience along one of six themes marking life’s milestones. At the Cafe, you are able to give and draw support from fellow participants in the process.

This month’s theme: Parenting for the non-religious

At this Cafe, non-religious parents will come together to share their stories and provide support to each other. Topics can include:

  1. Imparting moral values and ethics to children and teens
  2. Dealing with difficult questions related to sexuality and death
  3. Interfaith tensions in family, such as when a family member joins / leaves religion

There will be two Humanist facilitators who are parents themselves.
