Are you being paranoid about your privacy? Are people using social media out of their minds?

In this click-bait titled talk and workshop, the society’s assistant secretary and webmaster (same guy) will describe to you how he would hack a humanist (or any other average person), and the rational actions you can take to stay sane in the modern digital economy and life.

About the speaker: Dan is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional with experience in information security and data privacy operations at financial institutes. You can find him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/danthio/

The talk and workshop will be held on Zoom on 26 September 2021 (Sun) between 8.00-9.30pm SGT and registration is required at the bottom of this page.

Registration is free for all current members of the Humanist Society Singapore. 20 free registrations will be available for public and non-members. All subsequent public and non-members are available at S$8.00 which helps the society pay for the web hosting and paid ZOOM account.

Your membership status is indicated in the greeting message of the regular newsletter sent to your registered email address. Alternatively, ask the secretary. You can sign up as a member here if you’re not one!
