Come join us for the annual Winter Solstice and Human Light celebration. We are having dinner at the Book Café at Robertson Quay. There will be games and prizes to be won!
The Winter Solstice, December 21st this year, marks the onset of winter in the northern hemisphere. Human Light is on December 23rd. It is the Humanists’ way of celebrating the winter season with Humanists’ values, cheer and happiness. December 21st is also when the world will most probably not end according to the Mayan Calendar *phew*, so we have something else to be thankful for. Disclaimer: We are not responsible if it does :P.
The menu for the evening:
- Pumpkin Soup
- Garlic Bread
- Roast Chicken with gravy (Vegetarians get pasta with pesto, tomato and pine nuts)
- Roast Potatoes
- Grilled Vege platter
- Chocolate Brownie
- Coffee, Tea or Iced Lemon Tea
