Join us at the launch of “Towards Better Disagreement: Religion and Atheism in Dialogue” by Dr Paul Hedges from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, NTU.

In this book, Dr Hedges investigates the differences between religiosity and atheism by tackling issues such as the treatment of women, the idea of a pure and empirical realm of ‘science’, and the association of religion with warfare. He also proposes the possibility of meaningful conversations taking place between the religious and non-religious.

A collaboration between the Humanist Society (Singapore) and Leftwrite Center, the book launch will include a dialogue session by Dr Hedges, Humanist Society founding President Paul Tobin and Leftwrite Center founding member Mohamed Imran Mohamed Taib. This book will be available for sale at S$15.15 (inclusive GST and after 20% discount). Light snacks will also be served.
