Join us as we watch and discuss the much anticipated movie – Theory of Everything.
The film was inspired by the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Wilde Hawking, which deals with her relationship with her ex-husband, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, his diagnosis of motor neuron disease, and his success in physics.
It has a rating of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.7/10 on IMDB.
The showtime on 17th Jan 2015 (Sat) for Theory of Everything at Filmgarde (Bugis+) is 1350hours (1.50pm). Please get your tickets early and we will meet to watch it together.
After the movie, we will be gathering at Han’s at National Library for discussion and chitchat.
We will not be making a group purchase of tickets. In fact, you can watch the movie before the 17th and join us at Han’s anyway!
Update: The movie is about 2 hours long, so we aim to be at Hans about 4.30pm.
