Join us as we examine the history of Science and Philosophy in the Medieval Middle ­East. The talk will bring you through the geography of the Middle East and its importance as a crossroad of ancient great civilizations. A few prominent scientists, physicians and philosophers of the medieval era will be briefly mentioned together with their important contributions to the body of knowledge at that time.

Join us as we examine the history of Science and Philosophy in the Medieval Middle ­East. Mr. Roshandel is an Iranian and a Postgraduate Student in School of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University since Jan 2012.

Tickets at S$6.00 for HSS members and S$8.00 for public at the door.
