Secular Humanism Talk in NUS

The Humanist Society (Singapore) is invited to give a talk on secular humanism at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The speaker is Mr Paul Tobin, founding President of the Society.

This talk will be part of a ‘Faith First: Introduction to Religion” Dialogue Series, organised by NUS Students Interfaith Interest group. This will be part of their ongoing effort to promote awareness regarding diverse culture and belief system to the student population in NUS.

A rough breakdown of the programme:

6.00-6.10: Introduction of Speaker
6.10-7.00: Talk on secular humanism
7.00-7.30: QnA session

This is the second time the HSS participated in interfaith activities at NUS. The first was held in 2012 and attracted about 30 attendees.
