Social events are one of the most popular gatherings at the Society. They provide a valuable space for humanists, atheists, skeptics, agnostics and other like-minded people to interact and debate with one another. For information of upcoming social events, you can:

Please note that social events are not held every month. They will alternate between our talks and community work.

Some of our long-running social events include:

  • Humanist Cafe – Informal social gatherings held in town with no specific discussion topic
  • Winter Solstice – Annual end-of-year gatherings with dinners, drinks, games and quizzes
  • HSS Barbeque – Started in 2011 and became an annual affair ever since. Food provided for both meat-eaters and vegetarians.
