June is a pink month and local humanists have been supporting Pink Dot events even before the society was registered. Please join us in supporting the freedom for our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender friends' freedom to love.

  • Date: 29 June
  • Time: 4 pm onwards (dot is formed at 730pm)
  • Place: Hong Lim Park (nearest MRT is Clarke Quay)

What to wear: something pink and comfortable for outdoors

What to bring: torchlight/mobile phone, snacks to share (optional, let us know if you want to bring something)

We will provide: picnic mats, drinks, light bites and pink cellophane paper

Note for non-Singaporeans/non-PRs: According to the rules of the speaker's corner (Hong Lim Park), you can join in the picnic/concert but can't be part of the dot formation at dusk.

PinkDot, Oogachaga, and Sayonia have recently launched a nation-wide LGBT census. Please help to contribute to their data collection here: http://www.sogiresearch.blogspot.sg/ (You do not have to be a LGBT to take the survey)

We had this event last month on 21 April, and we are helping out again this Month. Do join us if you can!
 
If you have a Sunday afternoon to spare and would like to do a little something to help the elderly, come and join fellow humanists as we assist the Lions Befrienders in their hot meals project. We will be serving meals to the elderly and spending some time interacting with them. ABOUT THE PROJECT
 
Lions Befrienders is a Voluntary Welfare Organization that strives to aid the social, psycho-emotional and physical well-being of lonely seniors through community participation.
 
The hot meals project is a monthly event organized by the Lions Befrienders to provide meals to the elderly residents residing around Ghim Moh area. 
 
DETAILS:
 
Date: 19 May, Sunday from 1130am to 1pm
Commitment: approx. 1.5 hours. 
Requirements:  None! Just a few hours of your time!

Our Humanist Cafe this month will be held in Han's at National Library. Event details:
