A will is an important and yet often neglected part of financial
planning. Some of us are not aware of the adverse consequences of not having a valid will when we pass on, whereas the rest of us simply keep putting it off. On the other hand, people are more aware of the importance to have some arrangements made in case we are no longer able to make decisions on our own. An LPA (Lasting Power of Attorney) is vital but there is still some confusion about that all important document. For those concerned, having an AMD (Advanced Medical Directive) executed gives you the ultimate peace of mind.

Mr. Patrick Chang, a finance industry professional specialising in wills, probate and trusts will give an introduction on how a valid Will, LPA or AMD matters in financial planning, pointers when making drafting your own will, and important elements in estate planning.
