If you have a Sunday afternoon to spare and would like to do a little something to help the elderly, come and join fellow humanists as we assist the Lions Befrienders in their hot meals project.
We will be serving meals to the elderly and spending some time interacting with them. We will also be serving food directly to 30 households around the area.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Lions Befrienders is a Voluntary Welfare Organization that strives to aid the social, psycho-emotional and physical well-being of lonely seniors through community participation.
The hot meals project is a monthly event organized by the Lions Befrienders to provide meals to the elderly residents residing around Ghim Moh area.
Commitment: approx. 1.5 hours.
Requirements: None! Just a few hours of your time!
